Grading Scale

 

A (86-100%)

An ‘A’ indicates an excellent or outstanding performance in relation to the given criteria

- the task is complete and all criteria have been met to a superior degree

- the student demonstrates a thorough understanding

 

B (73-85%)

A ‘B’ indicates a very good performance in relation to the given criteria

- the task is complete and all criteria have been well met

- the student demonstrates a complete understanding

- the student’s work is of a high quality, but is not outstanding

 

C+ (68-72%)

A ‘C+’ indicates a good performance in relation to the given criteria

- the task is complete and most criteria is well met

- there are some errors or missing information

- the student demonstrates a competent understanding

 

C (60-67%)

A ‘C’ indicates a satisfactory performance in relation to the given criteria

- the task is partially accomplished and some but not all criteria are met

- there are several errors or omissions

- the work is of an acceptable quality, but there is ample room for improvement

 

C- (50-59%)

A ‘C-‘ indicates a minimally acceptable performance in relation to the given criteria

- only parts of the task are complete and several criteria are not successfully met

- there are many errors

- the student demonstrates a minimal understanding

- the student has made little effort to fully complete the task

 

F (0-49%)

An ‘F’ indicates that the given criteria have not been met to an acceptable standard

- the task has been attempted, but has not been completed to an acceptable grade level standard

- the work that has been completed contains major errors

- the student demonstrates little to no understanding
